So, what qualifies me to screen your CVs?
I have been in the recruitment services business for over 30 years. I hesitate to say it, but over the years I must have screened the CVs of hundreds of thousands of candidates, from junior clerks, apprentices, and school leavers to Senior Executives and Professionals, across all industries and skills sets.
I worked in Personnel consultancy, and consultancy management, for many years and then went into recruitment advertising with Admark Recruitment Advertising where I worked my way up to the position of Senior Account Executive and Copywriter, handling a portfolio of blue chip clients, including the Anglo American Gold and Uranium Division, De Beers, Impala Platinum, Scaw Metals, Standard Bank, Gencor, Edgars Stores, Russels Stores etc.
After 14 years with Admark, I joined PROMAN, where I held the position of Internal Account Executive and Copywriter, servicing accounts such as The Eskom Generation Division (Power Stations) as well as Eskom Head Office and Distribution, Sasol and CSIR. I also wrote for Mintek, Clover, Development Bank of SA, Aspen Pharmacare, G4 and numerous other big companies.
In 1999 I decided it was time to venture out on my own, as a freelance recruitment response handling agent.
During this time, I also worked on contract to a highly respected Executive Search Company, recruiting a number of senior mining people, and handled a huge local recruitment campaign for a blue chip Australian Mining Company.
